East Vertical Grid

            This grid, utilized in the past for the testing of chemical munitions, consists of a series of concentric circles with radii of 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 600, 1200, 1760, and 2640 yards. The overall grid design and utilization is similar to that just described for the West Vertical Grid, with the center points of the East and West Vertical Grids located 1275 yards apart along a northeast-south- west axis.
