REGION WATCH: Tests with the bacteria that cause
anthrax may begin within the next couple of weeks at Dugway Proving
Ground in Utah, the Army said.
I. Gary Resnick, chief of the Life Sciences Division at the
chemical-biological warfare testing reserve in the desert 70 miles
southwest of Salt Lake City, said the testing is "driven by Desert
Storm," the war in the Mideast.
